Description
This half-open nest box is designed to provide a suitable breeding space for several bird species, including robins, wagtails, common and black redstarts, and wrens. The specific species attracted will depend on the box’s location.
The box is manufactured to match standard UK brick dimensions, allowing it to be seamlessly integrated into new-build projects so that it sits flush with the wall surface. Alternatively, it can be mounted externally on an existing wall if preferred.
For optimal placement, install the box at least 3 metres high on the front of the building, ideally beneath the roofline or gutter to provide some shade. Avoid positioning the box in areas exposed to direct sunlight for extended period
The nest box is made entirely from FSC®-certified wood concrete.
