This double artificial nest facility is equipped with a drawer system that allows the nest bowls to be easily removed for cleaning after the breeding season. Never open the bowls during the breeding season, as this disrupts the breeding process.

This artificial nest provides nesting opportunities for the house martins. The nest features a drawer system, allowing the nest bowls to be easily removed for cleaning after the breeding season.
- Place artificial nests on the facade of the house or barn, directly under the gutter or overhang.
- Install artificial nests preferably on the east or northeast side, and place several together, as the house martin is a colony breeder.
- The artificial nests come with mounting hardware.
- No nesting material needs to be added.
- Tip: Provide a mud puddle within 200 meters of the nesting site to allow house martins to build additional nests on their own.
House martin nests can be cleaned and checked once a year at the end of the season, starting in October. To do this, turn the hook on the front of the artificial nest one full turn so the nest can be slid out of the drawer.
