This artificial nest (entrance on the right) provides nesting opportunities for the house martin. The nest box is made of the sustainable material WoodStone®, a mixture of 100% FSC® wood fibre and concrete.

When viewed from the front, this single artificial nest has the entrance opening on the right side of the nest bowl. The artificial nest is made of WoodStone®, a sustainable mixture of 100% FSC® wood fibre and concrete. The nesting bowls are not removable.
- Install artificial nests on the facade of the house or barn, directly under the gutter or overhang.
- Position artificial nests preferably on the east or northeast side, and group several together, as house martins are colony breeders.
- No nesting material is required.
- The artificial nests include mounting hardware.
- Tip: Provide a mud puddle within 200 metres of the nesting site to help house martins build additional nests themselves.
This house martin nest can be cleaned once a year at the end of the season, starting in October. To remove nesting material, take the entire artificial nest off the wall and clean the nest bowls through the openings in the back wall.
