This grey nest box provides nesting opportunities for the blue tit and black tit, and it is also used by the pied flycatcher.
Recognized by:
- Hang the nest box with the provided screw or nail.
- Entrance opening should not be placed to the southwest due to rain.
- Make sure the nest box does not hang in the sun all day.
- Do not add nesting material.
- Place the nest box at least 2 feet high in a tree or on a fence or facade.
- The nest box can also be attached to a tree without nail or screw using Velcro. To do this, rotate the hanging bracket at the back 180 degrees. Velcro is optional to order.
The nest box can be cleaned by opening the front of the nest box. Do this immediately after the young birds have fledged or in the winter months after a few days with frost.
