Description
This nest box is made of exterior concrete plywood and is assembled using stainless steel screws. The roof is coated with bitumen and finished with aluminum corner profiles. The box includes a galvanized approach grid and a 25 kg bag of fine gravel for nesting material. For mounting, you can create your own structure or choose our standard hanging frame; however, this frame is only suitable for mounting on a wall or facade.
The peregrine falcon nesting box is typically placed on tall buildings such as flats, towers, or churches. This is specialized work, and each location should be assessed to determine the best options for placement. We can provide advice and installation services. Please contact us for more information.
The box can be cleaned after the breeding season, preferably during the winter months. When doing so, leave the gravel in the box and remove only the remains of prey and other debris left from the breeding season.
