Description
This tree box for bats was designed by English bat expert Colin Morris. In England, this model has been successfully used for many years. Colin granted us permission to manufacture this model in woodcrete and market it under the name CJM Bat Box.
Made of 100% WoodStone®, this is a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibres and concrete. This box features three compartments with wood panels to create different microclimates inside. The box can be placed in trees or on a facade.
Several bat species can use this bat box, depending on the local species and where it is hung. It is suitable as a summer and/or breeding box, and in mild winters, it can also serve as a shelter for some species.
