This artificial nest offers barn swallows a suitable breeding opportunity. The nest bowl is made of durable wood-concrete and features a back wall made of cast concrete. For secure mounting, the artificial nest is supplied with two stainless steel screws and matching plugs.
Barn swallows like to nest in stables, barns, or under carports, as long as there is livestock nearby, such as horses or ponies. These artificial nests can also be excellently used in cow or pig stables where swallows still have access. Additionally, they are suitable for placement under bridges or sluices. The nests are easy to mount using the included stainless steel screws.
Na het broedseizoen, vanaf november, kan het oude nest worden verwijderd.
Let op: jonge boerenzwaluwen kunnen tot ver in de herfst nog aanwezig zijn op hun broedplaats. Controleer daarom altijd goed voordat je het nest weghaalt.
