Seen from the front, this single artificial nest has the entrance opening on the left side of the nest bowl. The artificial nest is made of 100% WoodStone®. The nesting bowls are not removable. WoodStone® is a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibres and concrete. This robust material is environmentally sustainable and will last for decades.

This artificial nest (entrance at left) provides nesting opportunities for the house swallow. The nest box is made of the sustainable material WoodStone®, a mixture of FSC® wood fiber and concrete.
Recognized by:
- Place artificial nests on the facade of the house or barn, directly under the gutter or overhang.
- Install artificial nests preferably on the east or northeast side, and place several together, as the house martin is a colony breeder.
- No nesting material needs to be added.
- The artificial nests come with mounting hardware.
- Tip: Provide a mud puddle within 200 metres of the nesting site to allow house martins to build additional nests on their own.
This house martin nest can be cleaned once a year at the end of the season, starting in October. To remove nesting material, take the entire artificial nest off the wall to clean the nest bowls through the openings in the back wall.
