Recognized by:
- Place artificial nests on the facade of the house or barn, directly under the gutter or overhang.
- Install artificial nests preferably on the east or northeast side, and group several together, as house martins are colony breeders.
- No nesting material needs to be added.
- Tip: Provide a mud puddle within 200 metres of the nesting site so house martins can build additional nests on their own.
Cleaning these artificial nests depends on how they are applied.
