This double artificial nest facility is equipped with a drawer system that allows the nest bowls to be easily removed for cleaning after the breeding season. Never open the bowls during the breeding season, as this disrupts the breeding process.
House martin nests can be cleaned and checked once a year at the end of the season, starting in October. To do this, turn the hook on the front of the artificial nest one full turn so the nest can be slid out of the drawer.
