Among other species, the NK KA 02 provides nesting opportunities for jackdaws and cave pigeons. Starlings also favor the box, and there are reports of squirrels nesting in it. At the bottom of the back, two screws can be installed to ensure more stable hanging, which makes a significant difference, especially against the round trunk of a tree. The box is made of WoodStone®. WoodStone® is a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibres and concrete. This robust material is environmentally sustainable and will last for decades.

This nest box provides suitable nesting opportunities for jackdaws. Burrowing pigeons and starlings also use the box.
Recognized by:
- Hang the nest box using the screw hook provided.
- Use the 2 supplied screws for a stable installation.
- Ensure the entrance opening is not facing southwest to avoid rain exposure.
- Make sure the nest box is not exposed to direct sunlight all day.
- Do not add nesting material.
- Place the nest box at least 3 feet high in a tree, on a fence, or on a facade.
The nest box lid is removable for maintenance. Cleaning is best done immediately after the young birds have fledged or during the winter months after a few days of frost. Jackdaws can fill the nest box with a considerable amount of nesting material!
