This model nest box is divided into two separate compartments. This offers the partner a place to spend the night. Moreover, the different spaces allow sparrows to start a second brood when the first brood has not yet fledged. The nest box cannot be considered double compensation; it serves as compensation for only one breeding pair. The nest box is also gladly used by (cabbage) tits, for example. This box is made of WoodStone®, WoodStone® is a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibres and concrete. Installation is easily accomplished using the included Z-hook and stainless steel screws.

This surface-mounted sparrow box is suitable for the mitigation and compensation of house sparrow nesting sites.
- Preferably place the nest box with several together, ensuring a minimum horizontal and vertical spacing of 50 cm.
- The boxes may be used in all wind directions, as long as the entrance opening does not face southwest and the nest box does not hang in direct sunlight all day. Ideal spots are directly under gutters or overhangs, or at least 3 meters in height.
- Do not add nesting material.
- Hanging the box is easy with the included fasteners. First, place the so-called Z-hook in the desired location. Then place the nest box over the hook. The box can be additionally secured to the wall with the included plug and screw.
If desired, the box can be cleaned after the breeding season (preferably during the winter months). To do this, unscrew the box from the wall and take it off the hook. The opening at the back of the box allows the inside to be cleaned.
