Hanging barn owl nest boxes is becoming increasingly common in Europe. This practice is much more widespread, and these boxes are successfully inhabited by barn owls.
- This barn owl box is made of exterior plywood and finished with a water-based lacquer. For extra durability, the roof can be finished with a layer of EPDM or bitumen (not included) if necessary.
- The box comes with a large landing platform that can be mounted as desired, though this is not required.
- The box features a separate nesting area and has a hatch at the front for inspection and maintenance.
