Description
The VK WS 09 bat box is ideal for installation directly under eaves, gutters, or, for example, under bridges and weirs. This gable box can be placed singly or multiple boxes can be positioned side by side to create a larger horizontal space. The box is finished in black, allowing the temperature inside to warm up quickly when placed in a shady, cooler location.
Several species of bats can use this bat box, depending on the local species and where it is hung. The box is suitable as a summer and/or breeding box, and in mild winters, it can also serve as a shelter. It is made of WoodStone® (a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibers and concrete) and comes with a convenient Z-hook for mounting on the facade.
