Description
This facade bat box is divided into two compartments to create different microclimates inside. The box is finished in white to reduce the likelihood of overheating when installed in sunny, warm places. This bat box is also available in black (VK WS 12). The black finish allows the temperature inside the box to warm up quickly when placed in a shady, cooler location.
The box is made of 100% WoodStone® (WoodStone® is a mix of 100% FSC®-certified wood fibres and concrete) and comes with a convenient Z-hook for mounting on the facade. Several species of bats can use this bat box, depending on the local species and where it is hung. The box is suitable as a summer and/or breeding box, and in mild winters, it can also serve as a shelter.
