In-house production in Europe

Vivara Pro is vertically integrated manufacturer with factories in Poland, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. Our in-house production in Europe means that we are independent of external parties. This allows Vivara Pro to respond flexibly to demand and deliver our products quickly.

Our local production sites help Vivara Pro comply with European laws and regulations regarding environmental standards, working conditions, safety, and material use. This aligns with our approach to sustainability: responsible production with respect for people and the environment.

This means Vivara Pro is involved in the production process from start to finish. From our experts who develop products together with our partners at nature conservation organizations, to our own factories that then manufacture these products according to strict quality standards, to our logistics center in the Netherlands where they are stored.

FSC-friendly production

In our own factories, we operate according to FSC® standards, which means we meet the international standards of the Forest Stewardship Council. The wood we use comes from sustainably managed forests that respect biodiversity, people, and the environment. This ensures that our products not only contribute to a rich natural environment but are also produced responsibly.

All of our products, even all the wood in our cabinets, are 100% FSC® certified. This means that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests, which not only guarantees the highest quality but also contributes to a more sustainable future.

Production of WoodStone® (Woodcrete) in our European factories

Our European factories in Lithuania and Poland are crucial to our production capacities. Here, we combine craftsmanship with technology, developing durable products that can withstand all weather conditions.

The factory in Lithuania has helped us with our material innovation. It was there that we developed our WoodStone® (Woodcrete) over 20 years ago. This material is now used in many of our products.
Advantages of WoodStone® (Woodcrete):

  • It has a long lifespan
  • It absorbs Co2
  • It has insulating and fire-resistant properties

In our factory in Poland we make wooden products from FSC®-certified wood.

Production in the Netherlands: Wood workshop for custom work

In addition to our standard product lines, Vivara Pro also has its own woodworking shop. Here, we can achieve biodiversity by creating tailor-made solutions, catered to the needs of the customer, the local wildlife or the environment. We create solutions that precisely meet the customer’s needs, from bat towers to sand martin walls and insect hotels.

This workshop is part of our logistics center in the town of Vierlingsbeek in the Netherlands. It offers us the flexibility to support projects with solutions that are not “standard,” but are necessary for nature-inclusive construction to truly work.
