The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) was established in 1993 in response to increasing concerns about deforestation and illegal logging. As an international nonprofit organization, FSC® was formed through collaboration between environmentalists, social movements, and business. Today, the FSC® label is globally recognized as a symbol of responsible forest management.
We prioritize FSC® wood because it comes from forests that are sustainably and responsibly managed. FSC® certification ensures that the wood we use meets rigorous ecological, social, and economic standards. Sourcing our wood in this way protects forests and supports local communities.
Wood concrete (Woodstone®) advantages.
FSC® wood concrete has natural insulating properties and is breathable. This can lead to better breeding outcomes for the species inhabiting the box or brick.
