Bat boxes and squirrel nesting boxes have also been installed in the park. Nest boxes are maintained by the Efteling itself.<\/p>\n<p>In late 2016, two kestrel boxes on pole and two owl boxes in trees (in the vicinity of the old owl box that was in dire need of replacement) were installed at Efteling Golf Park.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;8248&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row_content_no_spaces&#8221; el_class=&#8221;inner-page&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;8245&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;right&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; el_class=&#8221;text-block-inner&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Years of monitoring&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text]Annually, all nest boxes are checked by our specialists. In a comprehensive inspection report, the recommendations, areas for improvement and concerns are handed over to the Efteling. Of course, other animal welfare and nature conservation aspects that the specialists encounter during their inspection are also passed on to the Efteling.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the annual nest box check are pleasing.
