Description
This built-in box is ideal for compensating a bat summer or mating roost in new construction projects.
The bat nesting box is used in combination with the IB VL 09 entrance stone, which is built into the exterior wall. For walls with their own cladding, such as timber frame construction (TFC), a proper connection to the entrance opening must be created on-site.
The box is made of exterior-grade plywood and finished with spray cork on the outside and on two interior sides. Thanks to the two spacious chambers, various microclimates are created, offering bats suitable roosting spots.
The sloped design on the inside of the IB VL 11 ensures that bat droppings are automatically discharged through the entrance stone, preventing buildup inside the box.
